

Barbara Milo Aguilera, 81, of Greeley, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born on October 6, 1934 in La Salle, Colorado to Everitt and Grace (Martinez) Aragon.
Barbara graduated from Greeley High School. She worked in food service at the University of Northern Colorado until her retirement in 2003.
On January 31, 1959 she married Andrés Aguilera at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Greeley.
She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Peace, where she was on the Altar Rosary Society. She also was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 2121.
Family was everything to Barbara. Cooking and cleaning were among the many tasks she found joy in providing for them. She also loved cleaning at the church and helping whenever possible. She was completely devoted to God and her family; she was a true servant.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Andrea Aguilera of Greeley; four sons, Augustine (Kelly) Aguilera of Freeland, MI, Angelo (Diana) Aguilera of Eaton, Thomas Aguilera of Fort Collins and Sean (Bonnie) Aguilera of Greeley; two sisters, Theresa Castro of California and Patricia Castaneda of California; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andrés, a daughter, Baby Monica and daughter-in-law, Charlene Aguilera.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
