Barbara Kidwell

Barbara Redding “Bobbie” Kidwell 79, of DeLeon Springs, FL was called home on Sunday September 26, 2021 in Loveland CO surrounded by her children. Barbara was born in Charleston SC to Victor and Faye Redding. Barbara is preceded by her parents, her husband Roland Lee Kidwell and her grandson Jay Alan Shelley. She is survived by her children Tamoria Sliz (John) Greely CO, Alan Kidwell (Leslie) Ormond Beach FL, Ashleigh Hicks (Lee) Daytona Beach FL, Shelly Helms (Mitch) West Minster SC, Laurel Baker (Mark) DeLeon Springs FL, 12 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with two more on the way. Sister: Patricia Sanders and Brothers: Victor Redding, Walter Redding, Robert Redding.

Barbara graduated from University of Central Florida earring her BSN degree. She enjoyed every moment of her career in Nursing. She started her career as an LPN at Halifax Medical Center in 1975 and ended her career as the Director of Nursing at Tomoka Correctional Institution. Barbara spent her retirement years volunteering and dedicating herself to The Pierson United Methodist Church, Thrift store and prayer garden. She enjoyed and was committed to donating to the families around her community and always lending a hand when needed. Barbara will be missed by her family and friends but we find peace knowing she is Jitter bugging with Rollie again. A Memorial Service will be held for
