He was born on June 10, 1957 in Big Spring, Texas to Bobby and Beatrice (Hallford) Armstrong. As the oldest of five siblings, he learned from a young age to always help everyone out; Bobby had a huge heart. His family moved around as his dad was in the military. Eventually, he moved back to Big Spring, Texas where he raised his own family.
After high school, Bobby became a police officer, and was in law enforcement for nearly 20 years. After retiring from the police force, he earned his nursing degree at Howard College. Bobby was always involved and committed to his community. For some time, he worked for a non-profit called Northside Community Center. Bobby eventually found his way to Colorado to be closer to his son, Jeremy, and his family.
Bobby enjoyed many things this life offered including collecting coins and rocks. He loved being outdoors whenever he could and spent lots of time fishing and camping. He also enjoyed watching Westerns, especially ones with John Wayne. Bobby was very intelligent, but above all, he was loving. He loved his family and always did the best he could in everything he did and for everyone he knew.
Bobby was loved deeply and will be missed greatly. Surviving him are his sons, Jeremy (Angela) Armstrong and Aaron Armstrong; sisters, Sherri Daniels and Mickey (Terry) Payne; brothers, Danny (Malinda) Armstrong and Richard (Becca) Armstrong; and his three grandchildren, Skylar, Amber, and Jeremy II.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Beatrice.
