It was at UNC where she met Kim Wilson, and they were married on June 26, 1982. During Carol and Kim's 43 year marriage, they enjoyed concerts, plays and traveling on several cruises together. Carol loved to swim and snorkel, and her trip to Tahiti was a highlight of their travels. She was very passionate about gardening, and enjoyed being in her yard as much as possible. She was always quite active, and enjoyed doing aerobics for many years, as well.
Carol will be greatly missed by so many people, including her husband, Kim Wilson; sister Nancy Florquin; brother, Bruce Pivarunas (Janet); and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albin and Marion Pivarunas, and sister, Joyce Sineni.
There will be a gathering to honor Carol's life, and details will be forthcoming.
