A resilient, strong-willed, and compassionate woman, Cheridee Marie Ulibarri was cherished by her family and those she held dear. She was kind, considerate, and thoughtful of others. She danced to ABBA, read countless books, made every holiday and event special, and always smiled and laughed through all the ups and downs. She left this world on May 18, 2026, at the age of 79, and left a hole in our hearts. Her spirit continues to resonate in all the lives she touched, and we are so thankful we got to spend this life with her.
She was born in Leadville, CO, spent much of her childhood in Montrose, CO, and settled in Greeley, CO. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Steve L. Ulibarri. During their marriage, they raised and loved four kids, Jason (Jesi Clark) Ulibarri, Larry (Uli Streicher) Ulibarri, Kristy (Pete Franks) Ulibarri, and Alan Ulibarri, and two grandkids, Jaedyn Ulibarri and Logan Ulibarri. She is survived by her sister Charlene Ray. She was preceded in death by her parents Elzie and Helen (Connors) Ray and her sister and brother-in-law Ludeen and William Leiter.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Stoddard Funeral Home; 3205 W. 28th Street in Greeley.
