Cleo Stella Sanchez

On November 9, 1953, Cleo married Charles “Charlie” Sanchez at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. After their marriage, they lived in Greeley, where they raised their family. She was always there for her children and grandchildren, when they were in need.

Cleo was a member of Hill N’ Park Senior Center. She was a very friendly person to all she met. Her loving Chihuahua, Bambi, followed her everywhere during life and followed her in death two days later.

Cleo is survived by four daughters, Charlene Griego and husband Al, Cynthia Sanchez and husband Rudy Hernandez, Corinne Sanchez and Charlotte Sanchez-Jackson all of Greeley; five sisters, June, Betty, Mary Lou, Barbara and Connie; five brothers, Manuel, Benny, LeRoy, John Jr. and Ben; 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Cleo is preceded in death by her husband on March 19, 2006, a son, Charles Johnny Sanchez on May 8, 1976, a sister, Ernestine and a brother, Lawrence.

Time of Sharing 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
