Damian Tre-Lee Montoya

Damian attended New Hope Academy, graduating in June from Apex. He was the first of his family to graduate with a High School Diploma and was in the process of following his brother, Charles' path of obtaining his CDL License. Damian held his first job as a painter and moved into drywall. He was currently employed at Sonic, which he absolutely loved. Damian impacted every person he encountered, leaving them with a smile, laughter and a memory that will stick with them forever. He was a lover of many things including skateboarding, his reptiles, fast cars, building a motorcycle from scratch, and rough housing with his younger sister Aniyah and brother Mikey. He also loved hanging out with his older brothers, Charles and Fabian, and spending time with his cousins and friends who quickly became family. He enjoyed family gatherings, outdoors, and camping and fishing throughout the summer. Damian was an 18-year-old filled with love, happiness, goals and big dreams.

Damian is survived by his Mother, Cedina Trujillo, Father, Christopher Montoya and Stepfather, Jorge Castelo, all of Greeley, CO; his brothers Charles, Fabian, Mikey, and Aiden and his little sisters Aniyah, Aaveree, and Paola; his grandma Theresa; 9 aunts and uncles and their spouses and children from his dad's side of the family and 4 Aunts and uncles and their spouses and children on his mom's side of the family.

Damian is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Aaron Trujillo and Bobbie Basquez as well as his Grandpa David Montoya, Uncle David Montoya, Aunts Alyssa and Monica Montoya and Cousin Aaliya Montoya.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday August 25th at Stoddard Funeral Home located at 3205 W 28th Street in Greeley.

Life Celebration will be at 1pm Tuesday August 26th at Journey's Church located at 4754 W 31st Street in Greeley with Pastor Aaron Chambers officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley, CO 80634, reception to follow at Journey's Church.
