

Daniel Wightman Yacobucci passed away on Friday, June 5th after sustaining head trauma from an accidental fall. He is survived by his parents Roger and Nancy; sister Nancy Faye; brother, Dante. In addition to his family, Daniel had many friends and colleagues who were an important part of his life. He attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School, Boltz Jr. High and Fort Collins High School. He graduated with honors from Colorado State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Daniel was employed by John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa for four years before returning home to Colorado this past summer. In the fall of 2014 he became a Facilities Engineer at Avago Technologies. Daniel loved a variety of outdoor activities including camping, biking, hiking, skiing, fishing and going for walks with his mom. He loved cars and motorcycles and was working on a Mustang project car with his dad. Daniel and his sister went on adventures every Sunday, always to a new destination. Daniel participated in many of his brother’s projects and enjoyed having fellowship with him. Daniel, we are not going to say goodbye, but we will see you in a little while We will see you on the Other Side. The wait will only be the blink of an eye.

Daniel’s Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11th and Daniel’s Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 12th at 11:00 a.m. at the Allnutt Funeral Chapel, located at 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526. Luncheon will follow in the Allnutt Reception Room. Daniel will be laid to rest following the Reception. Daniel will be wearing some of his favorite comfortable clothes and our family would like you to wear casual summer/ business attire and/or funny t-shirts to the service.
