Darrel lived in Kersey since he was 10 or 11 years old. He graduated from Kersey High School. On June 21, 1963 he married Frances. He worked for Monforts as Construction Engineer for many years.
Darrel was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Giggy, parents, Ralph and Gladys Giggy, brother, Donald Giggy, sister, Virginia Allen, brothers-in-law, Wayne Allen, Robert Dick and Kenneth Prang; sister-in-law, Carol Giggy, nephew, David Allen and great-nephews, Justin Giggy and Jeffrey Jokel.
He is survived by daughters, Jody Giggy and Janet Gygi; sister, Patricia Dick; brother, James Giggy (wife, Nancy) and numerous loved nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Darrel’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
