David Arthur Snyder Jr.

David was born in the old Orthopedic Hospital in Greeley to David Arthur Snyder and Barbra Loa Reed on August 18, 1950. He attended schools in Johnstown and Greeley graduating from Greeley Central High School in 1970.

His working career took him to new construction sites around Weld and Larimer Counties delivering giant loads of concrete. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping, dirt biking. He loved walking the dogs for miles every day and just being in the great outdoors. His grandchildren were an integral part of his life.

David loved golf. He spent many weekends and vacations traveling to different courses to hit that little ball. The golf channel was always on at his house. He single-handedly kept the golf club manufactures in business. He is probably on God’s greatest golf course right now seeking out his lost ball.

David is survived by a daughter Charlotte Marie Snyder-Busch {Mike} and their three children of Wellington, CO; a son David Ernest Snyder and his daughter of Greeley, CO; and son John Michael Snyder of Greeley, CO; a stepdaughter Aimee Jo Ainsworth and her two children of San Marcos, CA. He is also survived by his mother, Barbra Loa Snyder-Bloss of Evans, Colorado; a brother Michael Raymond Snyder {Shirl} of Greeley, CO; two sisters Katherine Anne Snyder-Ehrlich {Ted} of Loveland, Colorado; and Debra Sue Snyder-Schlobohm {John} of Thousand Oaks, California, and numerous nieces and nephews.

David’s decision to be an organ donor is expected to help numerable recipients. As per David’s directions, his ashes shall be returned to nature and no memorial services are planned.
