Della Schwartz

Della Lee Schwartz, 71, passed away on February 22, 2023. Born on November 2, 1951 in Greeley, Colorado to Victor and Irene Doney. She graduated from Greeley West High School in 1969. In 1972 Della married Glen Franklin Galey. They divorced in 1982. She then moved to Denver, Colorado where she lived until 1982. Della then moved to Phoenix, Arizona for the next 6 years. When she returned to Colorado in 1988, she moved to Wheatridge where she lived for the next 14 years. During that time, Della attended Regis University. She was so proud of graduating with a 4.0 GPA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She then moved to Fort Collins for 3 years until 2005. On December 14, 1991 Della married Ronald Louis Schwartz. He passed in 2021. Della loved to read, play videogames, play the piano and loved listening to music.

Della Lee Schwartz is survived in life by her sons, Victor Galey, Thomas Galey, Glen Galey Jr., daughter, Amanda Zamora, sister, Virginia Douglas, grandchildren, Matthew Zamora, Cheyenne Zamora, Heather Galey, Gavin Galey, Leona Galey and great-grandchild, Liyla Treeteen.
