Delores Mary "Lola" Antuna, age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born on July 10, 1926 to Alfredo Olivas and Magdalena (Romero) Olivas in Eaton and lived in the Greeley area all of her life.
Delores and her four sisters shared a special bond and were raised in a close knit family. She was married, then divorced, and raised three sons on her own. She was also a very devoted daughter to her caring parents. She worked for the City of Greeley until she retired.
Delores loved to exercise, knit and do word puzzles. She had an outgoing nature and liked to make new friends. She could be salty, but had a lot of sugar too. She was also fond of the nurses and staff who took good care of her at Bonell Good Samaritan Center. Her family is very grateful for the care she received there.
Survived by her sons: David Antuna and Alfred (Florina) Antuna both of Greeley; her sisters: Ruby Andrade of Denver and Pauline Soto of Greeley; three grandchildren; great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Pete "Larry" Antuna; and her sisters: Helen Soto and Sally Ramirez.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 followed by a Mass both at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A few words of hope and encouragement will be shared by one of Jehovah's Witnesses at the graveside.
