Donna LaRue Reiser, 84, of Windsor, CO, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Assured Senior Living in Centennial, CO. She was born on December 19, 1939 in Northern Colorado to Ewald Ralph and Bertha Katherine (Herman) Kler and grew up on a farm. She was one of five children.
Donna served in the United States Air Force for 5 1/2 years where she met her first husband and father of her children.
Donna worked various jobs, but her most important jobs were taking care of her home and showing love to her family and cats. She was a valued member of her local AA group, and volunteered at the Windsor library as part of her love of reading.
Donna is survived by her children, Dwayne (Susan) DeSylvia of Parker, CO and Wanda Bradley of Northern Colorado and four grandchildren Isaac, Jeremiah, Moriah and Amanda.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Sam Reiser and first husband and father of her children, Frank Lee DeSylvia.
A Celebration of her life will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2024 at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley, CO. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Donna requested that memorial contributions be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, Animal Advocates of the U.S., ASPCA, or any animal rights organization.
