

Doris was raised in Loveland and moved to Greeley in 1952. She was a housewife and worked at UNC in the cooking department for two years. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW in Greeley.
On February 4, 1948 she married Junior Reed Keever. In her early days, Doris raised her four children and helped raise her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Doris enjoyed playing cards with her girlfriends, canning and cooking, especially her family’s favorite, Maple Bars. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, taking Sunday family trips and taking trips to Central City. She loved to watch the Chicago Cubs baseball games during the summer. Bonanza was one of her favorite TV shows.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Patty Colohan; two sons, Jerry (Carol) Keever and Richard Keever; sister, Melva Keever; brother, Wayne (Rita) Wagner; five grandchildren, David and Bill Colohan, Larissa Kusel, Jenni Stugart and Lanette Keever and nine great-grandchildren, Bowe, Jaeda, Caitlin and Brady Colohan, Grant Miller, Dawson Kusel and Delani and Jerrod Stugart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Junior, son, Donnie Keever, two sisters and two brothers.
