Lifelong Greeley resident, Edna Francis Monroe, died in Mesa, Arizona on November 11, 2012 at the age of 95. She was born on November 4, 1917 in Kersey, where she attended schools and graduated from Kersey High School.
She has a younger brother, Jack Doty in California.
Edna was married to Chester F. Monroe and together they raised three children, Janet Ashcroft, Sharon Regina and Clyde Monroe. She had eight grandkids, 15 great-grandkids and four great-great-grandkids. She owned and operated Edna’s Beauty Salon in Greeley.
A grave dedication will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Linn Grove Cemetery.
