Ellenor was an amazing person and advocate for children.  I had the pleasure of working with her on several cases.  I admired her determination and her sense of humor.  She did an amazing job connecting with the families and the children.

I worked with Ellenor as a Child Protection Caseworker for many years.  She had a heart of gold and a laughter to her that could get anyone going.  She had a special way of working with families.  She valued the foundation of 'Family' and ensured that those around her always appreciated the blessings bestowed upon them.  You will be missed by many Ellenor.  Rest in Peace my friend.

Ellenor was an inspiration as a caseworker for the Weld County Department of Human Services.  She was small in stature, but she had an enormous will, intellect, and heart to do the right thing for families.   She cared about others and this legacy shows in the her positive affect in the lives of others.  My deepest sympathy to her family.

One late afternoon in th 80s at A Woman's Place as Ellenor was packing up to leave for the day , a woman and her two children came to the front door. We rarely took in folks this way but this woman had walked in from a home 10 miles away and looked worn down by every step.   She was afraid and tired and her children were exhausted.  We brought the three into the office to start the intake process and the baby in mama's arms was unconsolable, crying and stricking out with arms and legs at mama's face. The older child tried to sooth with words and sweet kisses but the  baby would have known of it.  10 minutes turned to 20 and then 30.  Ellenor held her arms out to the mother and lovingly took this suffering child into her arms and began a low hum of a child's bedtime lulaby.  Within minutes  the baby began to calm and soon Ellenor had both children in the kitchen preparing food and laughing at the simple sillys in life.   Ellenor could do this for folks.  Her spirit will be remembered in every child's smile.

I knew Ellenor only through knowing Margie and Vanessa, two fine people surely who they are as influenced by Ellenor's love and encouragement.  Ellenor will live on through them in their sense of dignity, fairness, self-responsibility, and compassion for others.  Thank you, Ellenor, for helping to shape a better world.

A beautiful soul I met through her daughter Margie. Your spirit lives on in your daughter, grand-daughter and great grand-son. Fly with the angels, you'll be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all the family !!

Ellenor was one of my co-workers at A Woman's Place in 1991, and one of the first people I met when I moved to Greeley.  She was an inspiration and gave me a small plaque when I moved on to another job.  It said, ""Friends who have touched our lives remain forever in our hearts.""  I still have that on my dresser and think of her each time I see it.  Rest in peace, brave woman.

Auntie you inspired so many of us to strive for more in education.  Your determination showed us that we could reach our goals not matter what life throws at us. You are loved and will be missed.

You are everything to me. You have loved me more than anyone. You have inspired me and shown me that anything is possible if you try hard enough. It hurts so bad to be without you. My eyes are forever filled with tears. 

You deserve to be pain free and peaceful.  I  know you are ""partying it up"" in heaven.

Aunty I will always remember how you helped others in need aways putting others in front of yourself.  I loved the way you showed everyone that your never to old to go back to school and better yourself.
