Elvira grew up in the Lubbock and Slaton, Texas area. She moved with her family to the Ault area, where he father farmed. Elvira was brought up in the Catholic faith. She moved to the Evans area in the late 1970s. She then moved to Wheat Ridge in 2012.
Elvira loved bingo, time with her fiancé and time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Elvira is survived by sons, Cornelio R. Rendon of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Christopher Rendon of Wheat Ridge; sisters, Diana Vasquez of Greeley and Dilia Zuniga of Shelton, Nebraska; brothers, Gilbert Rendon, Jr. of Greeley and David Rendon (Zulema) of Arkansas City, Kansas; her fiancé, Cesar Alejandro Figueroa Alvarado and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dora Valdez.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stoddard Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
