

At the age of 103, Emma Marie Endicott passed away on June 4, 2016, at Garden Square Assisted Living at West Lake in Greeley, CO. Emma was born in Billings, MT, to Charles and Hannah Johnson on September 22, 1912. She grew up in Billings and graduated from Billings High School in 1931. Emma attended the School of Nursing in Sheridan County Memorial Hospital (Wyoming) and graduated in August 1934.
Emma married Clinton L. Endicott on May 29, 1936. Over the ensuing years, the couple had four children. She worked part time as a registered nurse in various communities in Wyoming. After her husband’s death in 1972, she moved from Casper, WY, to Camarillo, CA, and lived there until 2002, when she moved to Greeley, CO. While in Greeley, she made her home first at the Greeley Place and then at Garden Square
Emma was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church, ELCA, and enjoyed the company of her many friends and growing family.
She is survived by Edward Endicott (Phyllis), of Greeley, Michael Endicott (Hyong Sun) of Clarksville, TN, Patricia Kluesner (Lyle) of Boonton, NJ; sister Madeline Highbaugh of Grants Pass, OR; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clint; son Richard Endicott; brother Morris Johnson and Carl Johnson; and sisters Hazel Johnson and Carol Lorenz.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
