Ethel Irene Brewer passed away October 12th, 2021 in Columbus, Montana. Ethel was born and raised in the Ft. Lupton-Platteville, Colorado area on November 27th, 1924 to Virgil and Emma Wooldridge. She had 7 brothers and 5 sisters. She married Fred Brewer on March 15th, 1943. Together, they had 4 children. Buck, Delbert, Fred, and Connie.
Ethel worked on the farm, with her husband Fred, in the Four-way area near Hudson. She also worked at Dekalb, but her main job was being a loving wife and mother. She was a hard worker and was always willing to help someone in need.
Ethel would worry about her children when they went out at night, and would stay awake until they got home. Fred would tell her, "Ethel, you might as well go to bed. They might make is home alive." Ethel always spoke her mind. You didn't have to wonder what she was thinking. Ethel loved her whole family very much, and made sure she remained in contact with them.
Ethel dedicated her life to Jehovah God on September 30, 1973. She served Jehovah faithfully for over 48 years. Even when confined to the nursing home, she would talk to people she met, and would deliver literature to her return visits, and placed literature in the waiting room.
Ethel was proceeded in death by: her parents, 12 brother and sisters, her husband Fred, son Buck, granddaughter Christine Harkis, grandson Greg Brewer, daughter-in-law Peggy Brewer, and nieces and nephews.
Survived by: sons, Delbert (Jan) Brewer; Fred Brewer; daughter Connie (Richard) Harkis; 5 grandchildren and spouses; 10 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
