Faith Myrtle Bergsrud

Faith Myrtle Bergsrud, 56, of Eaton CO, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Faith was born October 13, 1966, in Northwood, North Dakota, to Dale Barton Bergsrud, and Glynda Lou (Henry) Bergsrud.

Faith and her family moved to Missouri, Kansas, eventually ending up in Greeley CO, then settling in Eaton CO. Faith went to school in Eaton, then went on to do 2 years of college to get her Associate's degree.

In 1994, Faith met the love of her life, Calvin Foos.

Faith was a stay-at-home mom until the two littlest boys, the twins, went to school. She had a cleaning business doing mainly new construction homes after the homes were built, Faith would do this in-between taking care of the kids. Her kids always came first in her eyes. She worked at H&R Block doing taxes, and then eventually got her license and did them out of her house. She eventually went to work for Hortons Feedlot as a bookkeeper for 16 years and continued doing taxes on her own. She loved doing yard work, loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, etc. and she loved animals. Faith was always involved with school activities, and after school activities. Also, on the weekends all the boys' friends would come to Faith's house and enjoy her good cooking and hospitality. Faith really enjoyed family functions, where everybody would congregate at her home. Faith had a huge heart and loved to help everyone, never wanting anything in return. Faith was a proud Norwegian and loved her Grandchildren very much. A child would put the biggest and proudest smile on her face, especially her own grandkids.

Faith is survived by her significant other, Calvin Foos of Eaton; her sons, A.J. Hickman of Wisconsin, Ryan Foos of Utah, Logan Hickman of Wisconsin, Chad Foos of Greeley, and Trevor Foos of Eaton; her mother, Glynda Elogen of Greeley; sisters, Cyndi Hammons of Greeley, Mary Holiday of Aurora, and Amy Bergsrud of Nevada; six grandchildren, Lucas, Liam, Aiden, Adaline, Huxley, and Mia, as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Bergsrud, stepmother, Irene Mackley-Bergsrud, and her brother, Keith Bergsrud.

A Celebration of Faith's Life will be held at a later date.
