Felix Michael Cruz Jr.

Felix was a member of the U.S Navy. He enlisted in 1956 along with his younger brother. He was raised in the Greeley area. Felix worked for the City of Ft. Collins as a building and maintenance tech. He was a lifelong Bronco’s fan. He enjoyed attending games, concerts and school activities that his grandchildren were part of. Felix was very active and loved to walk or bike ride for miles. His biggest enjoyment was to teach his kids to drive, grandkid to fish and ride their bikes. He loved to collect watches, pocket knives, pens and small trinkets. He knew every second hand store, pawn shop and flea market.

Felix is survived by the mother of his children Mary Arellano; daughters Susie (Joe) Moreno of Ault, Teresa (Jamie) Jordan of Greeley, Sharon Arellano, Patricia (Freddie) Hernandez and Judy Arellano all of Texas; son David Arellano of Greeley; sisters Lorraine Cortez of Texas, Angel Sandoval of California, Judy Gutierrez of Greeley and Pat (Ed) Vigil of LaSalle; brother Gabe (Alicia) Cruz of LaSalle; nephew Paul Arellano of Greeley; 24 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers Alex Cruz Sr., Martin Cruz, Marian Cruz and Ralph Cruz Sr.; two sisters Delfina Vasquez and Teddy Guerrero and one grandson Gilbert Arellano.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Journey Christian Church.
