Gary Roger Craig

Roger Craig, 75 of Eaton, CO, passed away at his home on December 7, 2015. Roger was born October 10, 1940 in Malvern, Iowa to Albert Craig and Villa Ruth (Garst). He married Patricia Highline on October 16, 1999.

Roger attended Malvern High School in Malvern, IA, graduating in 1960. He worked as a customer service representative at UBC Lumber in Fort. Collins. He was a member of the Vineyard Church of the Rockies in Fort Collins.

Roger loved his grandchildren – they would pile on him in his recliner so that Grandpa could read to them. He also enjoyed taking them out on his tractor. Roger also loved trains.

Roger is survived by his wife Patricia Craig; daughters Sheila Craig, Lorraine Craig and their mother Helen Craig, and Heather Taranto; sister Joyce (Jim) Carnes; grandchildren Destinee Craig, Samuel Taranto, Abbi Taranto, Andrew Taranto and Steven Taranto, twin of Emily. He is also survived by his son Billy Craig and Billy’s mother Dixie Craig; and his cousin Danny (Peggy) Garst.

He was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife Vicki Craig; and grand-daughter Emily Grace Taranto.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Eaton Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held in Roger’s honor at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at the Vineyard Church of the Rockies.
