

Harry Harold Bath passed away on November 19, 2014 at the age of 88. He was born on the farm 1 ½ miles east of Campion on April 17, 1926 to Henry Bath, Jr. and Molly (Hettinger) Bath. He lived his entire life in Loveland with the exception of his service time. He was drafted in the Army in World War II, was in the Philippine’s and Okinawa. He was an Infantryman with the 96th Division 381st Infantry then the 86th Infantry Division. He then went in to the Navy in 1950 and served aboard the air craft carrier USS Yorktown CVA10.
Harry went to Barber College in 1947 and was a Barber is Eaton, CO until he went into the Navy in 1950. He was stationed in Tacoma, WA and Bremerton, WA then went aboard the USS Yorktown CVA10 air craft carrier. He was a barber during his entire Navy tour after which he came back to Loveland. He barbered from 1947 until shortly before his passing. He always enjoyed being with people especially his customers, young, old and in between.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Norma Mahrland, Lucille Bath, Orlene Croissant and Marian Wagner; and brother Wayne Bath. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Bath; sister Donna Jurgens; son Robert Bath; grandsons Matthew, Daniel and Jonathan; and great grandsons Andrew and Justin.
Harry always thought flowers were beautiful, but just didn’t last. He would have preferred that in lieu of flowers, you think of him and do someone a little special favor. Once a month he would anonymously buy someone their Sunday dinner in a restaurant.
