I had the pleasure of working with Ingrid at the plasma center in Fort Collins in 2003-2004.  I had just moved to Colorado to live with my now husband and knew no one except for him and my co-workers.  Ingrid was one of the kindest, most funny, big hearted women I have ever met.  I ended up in a complicated pregnancy and on bed rest and was living over an hour away from the hospital where I was due to give birth. Ingrid opened her home to me, allowed me to stay in her guest room so I could be closer to the hospital, and threw my baby shower.  That baby is now a very healthy nine year old girl.  Because of this I will always have a special place in my heart for Ingrid.  Much love and well wishes to her family in this difficult time.

Dear Mark and Jean I am so sorry to hear of Ingrid passing. When she came to the denist office at Dr Franckum  I enjoyed getting to know her. She was a lovely woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and you have my deepest sympathy. Love KayLa Backencamp

Dear Aunt Sigrid and Uncle Mark:  I too wish I had known Ingrid better but can see by the comments below that she was loved very much by her family and friends.  My heart goes out to your family and our love and prayers are with you.

Aunt Sigrid and Uncle Mark - I wish I'd had a chance to know Ingrid better, because she truly was a lovely person from everything I know. There isn't enough love I can send you right now, or the words to give you peace. But you've been in my thoughts every hour of every day. Her husband and children will need all the comfort they can get, and I send my sympathies and love to them, too. Annette

Rest in peace my beautiful cousin.  You touched so many lives in your short life, especially mine and Wes'.  I am left to wonder why such good people are taken away from loved ones at such a young age.  My heart aches with your passing, for myself, Richard, the kids, your family, and many others I'm not even aware of, I'm sure.

I will always remember what an amazing person you are--such a beautiful heart--and smile.  I just have this feeling that when you left our world onto a much better one of no suffering, a nice handsome man was there to welcome you and give you a big hug (you know who I'm referencing <wink>).

I will never for you Ingrid, and I want to say thank you for being such a kind person and I will always be proud to say you were my family.  I love and miss you.
