

Jazmin Angel Rivera, 26, of Johnstown, passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland. Jazmin was born on December 9, 1987 in Greeley to Darren Gallegos and Marycela Valdez.
Jazmin graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown. On January 29, 2004 she married Leo Rivera in Johnstown.
Jazmin was a member of Grace Community Church, Johnstown, where she taught Sunday school. She loved children and enjoyed cooking. Her favorite foods were steak, ribs and salad from Texas Roadhouse. She also liked to make chocolate chip cookies and chocolate sundaes with chocolate chips. Jazmin was able to visit Disney World and enjoyed spending time at the lake.
Being a wife and mother was Jazmin’s life. She was able to keep her family in order with her “Guiding Light”.
Jazmin is survived by her husband, Leo; daughters, Divine and Precious Rivera; sons, C.J. and Bear Rivera; mother, Marycela Valdez; mother and father-in-law, Maria Ovalle and Leopoldo Rivera, Jr.; sisters, Precilla and Brianda Gallegos; brother, Alejandro Gallegos and grandparents, Mercy Rivera, Anita and Amando Valdez, Sarah and Sonny Herrera and Armando Gallegos.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Grace Community Church, Johnstown. Interment Johnstown Cemetery.
