

Jeannette Barbara Flores-Griego, 42, of Greeley, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born on March 17, 1974 in Greeley to Juan Benito Griego, Sr. and Diana Flores-Soto.
Jeannette grew up in Greeley and attended Greeley schools. While in school she loved arts and crafts. After her education, she raised her family. She married Gary Tobar in 1998. They later divorced in 2013.
Jeannette was a member of Healing Way Ministries. She loved animals and her chihuahua, “Baby”. She enjoyed making necklaces using beads. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed listening to music. Jeannette enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her uncles attending low-rider shows and playing baseball with her sister, Angie. Jeannette cared about people and would talk to anyone.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Corina Puga, Jazmine Puga and Shannia Martinez all of Greeley; sons, Cheyen Carlos (Berniece) Griego of Ft. Lupton and Jessie (Myra) Griego of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her mother and step-father, Diana Flores-Soto and Santiago Soto; sister, Christina Cleo Griego (Richard Fernandez) of Brighton; step-sister, Angie Ann Griego of Greeley; step-brother, Juan Benito Griego, Jr. of Greeley and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1995 and a special uncle, Russell Mendoza.
Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
