Jeff was born August 2, 1960 in La Porte, Indiana to Stanley James & Charlotte Masterson Halter. He was an ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician and GM Parts Manager. He married his one true love, Sue “Susie” Fitzgerald on March 18, 1989 in Las Vegas. In 1991 they moved to Colorado.
Jeff was a smart, caring, and easy going man who loved spending time at home with his family and making his own home-brewed beer. He also enjoyed computers, cooking, camping, boating, racing motorcycles, and listening to music. He was best known for his wit and love for his wife and son. He will be missed by many friends and family.
His wife Susie survives as well as: one son: Jeffrey James Halter, of La Porte, Indiana; one daughter: Samantha Marie (John) Riehle of La Porte, IN; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Jim, Jerry, and John Halter and one granddaughter.
