Jerry was born on Sep. 6th, 1932 in Greeley, Colorado to Beverly Alvin and Ruby Rudd. He grew up in Pierce, Colorado where he graduated from Pierce High School in 1950.
Jerry married Darleen Gallatin April 23rd, 1955 in Raton, New Mexico. Together they had two children, Cheryl and Charleen (Charlee).
Jerry was an active member of the Philadelphia Baptist church in Aztec New Mexico where Jerry lived his final years.
Jerry worked at several interesting jobs through his lifetime including rough necking on the oil rigs in Northern Colorado, driving long haul trucks, delivered milk for Alkires Dairy in Pierce, and worked as a meat cutter for Monfort Packing in Greeley.
Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping in the Colorado high country. Some of his favorite times were spent in the Poudre Canyon above Fort Collins, Colorado with family and friends. Jerry also loved to play cards and he was always up for a good game of cribbage.
