Joseph Schmidt

Joseph Schmidt, 94, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Fort Collins, CO. He was born June 27, 1923 to the late Conrad and Molly Schmidt. He was a WWII veteran stationed in Korea. Upon returning home, he married Betty Jane Haas on June 21, 1950. They moved to Windsor, CO where they farmed for many years. Returning to Fort Collins, Joe and Betty went to work for Dellenbach Motors.

Joe is preceded in death by: his wife, Betty; son, Dale; grandson, Dale, Jr.; parents, two brothers and one sister.

Joe is survived by: son, Allan and wife Kathy; sisters, Betty Curtis and Elnora Troudt of Fort Collins; one granddaughter; several great grandchildren nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00am until service time on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Allnutt Drake Chapel-Fort Collins.

Funeral Service will be 10:00am Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Allnutt Drake Chapel-Fort Collins with reception to immediately follow in the Allnutt Drake Reception Center.

Interment will be held 2:00pm Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 8426 Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to any charity concerning Alzheimer’s or Halcyon Hospice.
