Some one told me, that at birth, the crowd rejoices and the baby cries. And at death, it's reversed. the crowd cries, but the person is now rejoicing.  I think that is true. Love you so very much. Thank you so very much for allowing me the honor of being your son.

Mom, I miss you everyday. Sometimes, I go in your room and look around at all the things you loved. I cherish the time we had you here. It really was a blessing. You will forever live in our hearts and thank you for teaching me, so many beautiful things. I love you mom.

REMAINING LOVE
Nobody is ever prepared.... No matter what they say,
When they hear that a loved one, has gone and passed away.
Close in heart and distance, at odds, or living miles and miles apart
Your thoughts travel to the same place, deep within your heart.
With your mind you can see the emptiness, surrounded by a hole
It's where their spirit lived inside you, and where they hid their soul.
With Spirit and soul together, they are completed once again
As one they too will travel, to a place, where it all began.
Gone to be with their maker now, and with the others that went before Making the journey worth it, as they rest in pain no more.
As you face the sky to say a word to the person now above,
Know that your hole-filled heart will heal, with all of their Remaining Love. You can feel the presence of that love no matter where you go,
It will forever and always find you, in others that you know.
If you share that love with others, and they do the same for you,
There isn't any reason why, their Remaining Love will not continue.
This short poem was inspired by the life and by the passing of Joyce Elaine Huber on 4/29/2016.
The kindest person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. For anyone who took the time to read this, know that our love for Joyce is shared through her and all of her family and friends, and any void that you may feel personally with her passing, can be filled by all of her remaining love still in all of us.

Dear Patti & Family:  I met your beautiful mother when she became of neighbor of mineIn the short time that I knew your mother, I saw her kindness, her grace, and beauty in every word that she spoke and every smile that she gave. In loving memory with heartfelt condolences, our thoughts are with all of her precious family whom she loved dearly. Truly she was a Mother for me in the absence of my mother during my daughter LaShayla (God daughter)  childbirth. We Loved her so much and admired her inspiration and her excellent cooking. I grew up knowing Joyce. She was my cousin. Her sister Jo and I used to be at Joyce and Johnny's home in the summer time I remember going with them on vacation. Her kids were little then, but she had the patience to take us along with them. I've always had a lot of respect for Joyce. She was one of those people who you admired, and that smile. Never will forget her. She will be one of those loving people who I will never forget

Our deepest sympathy to all of Joyce's family, especially to our friend, Patti. Joyce spent a wonderful Thanksgiving with us and shared her amazing pie at dinner. I still remember that apple pie, I think one of her specialties.  She impressed me as such a fine person and devoted mother and grandmother. May she rest in peace!

Our deepest sympathy goes out to all. Joyce was  a beautiful women, with a beautiful heart & soul. We will always remember  the wonderful dinners we shared in Asheville. [Thanks John!] Joyce truly was an Angel on Earth!


I worked with Joyce at Berthoud Elementary School from 1978 until she left in 1988.   There are so many memories.  I will share a couple.  

Her work space was near the office.  Sometimes kids would be sent to the office to be spanked.  There had to be a witness, and when Joyce was chosen to witness it, she told me it hurt her.  She said, "They would look at me with their little eyes full of tears."

She loved the kids and staff.  One day she told me I had my dress on backwards.  I did.  She said, "It looked like you were about to choke--it was so high in front."

Joyce always looked nice, so felt a little bad one year when appearance was part of the evaluation, and she did not get the highest score for that.  I told her that I felt honored to be on the 2nd highest with her.  Not until later did I realize that could have backfired--she could have been upset to be marked the same as me.  But it seemed to make her feel better.

We shared our life for years and continued to with cards after she moved away.  This is a beautiful picture.

Due to a prior commitment, I won't be able to come to the service, but I will be thinking of you all.  I know it will be beautiful.

Thinking of you all at this time. I always remember the wonderful times in Loveland when Gary and I moved out there in 1973. We spent many happy times with Johnny, Joyce and the kids. Love the Huber's very much. Thanks for always letting me be a part of your loving families.

You will forever be in our hearts Great-Grandma Huber.

I send my condolence to all the family.She was a special lady.She will be missed but never leave or harts.She love her family and God more than anything.She gave me a wonderful wife and treated me like her own.I know she is at peace now and in no pain.I will miss or coffee time each day,it was just me and her.She would tell me things about all of you as you were growing up.She never for got anything about all of you.You were all blessed to have her as your mom.As I was blessed to be part of her family.We love you mom
