Juan Eduardo Aguilar

He was born on September 29, 1928 in Maes, New Mexico to Fernando and Josephita (Garduno) Aguilar. Juan was the second oldest of seven children. As an adult, Juan opened his company called Red-D-Cast in 1966 until 1969 when he changed the company name to Aguilar's Corporation. He married the love of his life, Frances (Romero) in Rocky Ford, Colorado. They enjoyed their lives together for 57 years up until Frances' passing on December 13, 2005.

Juan was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and St Mary's Catholic Church in Greeley, Colorado. He earned the Corner Stone award from the Chamber of Commerce in 2016 for 50 years in business. In his free time, Juan loved going "up the hill" to go gambling at "central city." Every January, Juan and his entire Family attended the World of Concrete Convention in Las Vegas.

Juan will be missed dearly by all who he leaves behind. He is survived by his daughters, Nancy (JR) Salas and Mabel (John) Sanchez; sons, Robert (Rosie) Aguilar and Ray Willie Aguilar; sisters, Frances (Bill) Aragon and Ruby Aragon; brother, Alex (Lucy) Aguilar; and brother-in-laws, Charles Garcia, Manuel (Aurelia) Romero and Felix (Laurie) Romero. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Anthony (Candice) Salas, Charlie (Adrienne) Aguilar, Ricky (Caren) Aguilar, Jessica Aguilar, Ray (Nicole Curry) Aguilar, Ruby (Phil) Graham, Robby (Amanda) Aguilar, Angela (BJ) Gonzales, Shawn (Nicole) Sanchez, Frank (Lizzy) Salas, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. And many God Children, He was a very beloved Godfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Cora Chavez and Delia Garcia; brother, Patricio Aguilar; and brother-in-laws, John Romero and Secondino Romero.

Recitation of the Rosary for Juan will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Ave, Greeley, CO 80634. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. also at St. Mary Catholic Church. A reception will be held at DoubleTree Inn, 919 7th St, Greeley, CO 80631 after the service.
