Julie Ann Bunn, 66, of Gilcrest, Colorado, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 under hospice care at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was born February 25, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Donald Hale and Eunice Marie (White) Smith.
Julie worked as a Nurse for 30 years at North Colorado Medical Center, in home healthcare and for hospice care. She was a world traveler and lived on the beach in Baja, California at one point. She was very independent and strong. She always cared for everyone and was considered a mother figure to so many people. Julie always had a smile on her face and would light up any room she entered. She was the most non-judgemental person, was very witty and had an amazing dry sense of humor. She was a rare, beautiful, unique soul.
Julie loved music and art, and had just started painting.
Julie is survived by her son, Jarrod Bunn (Tracie); sister, Kaye Land (Randy); brother, David Smith; grandchildren, Maddi Niles, Preston Bunn and Remington Lookhart and her ex-husband, Daren Bunn.
She was preceded in death by her son, Nathan Bunn, her parents and a sister, Nancy Martinez.
A Celebration of Julie's Life will be held at a later date.
