

Keith Russell Hampton, 30, Fort Collins, passed away Sunday, February 15 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. He was born September 14, 1984 to Greg Russell Hampton and Martha Lee Geraci Hampton in Schwaebisch-Hall, Germany. In his earlier years, Keith was known by those who knew him best and loved him most as “Keithy” and “The Hulk.” Keith was of the Presbyterian faith.
He graduated from Liberty High School in Colorado Springs in 2003 and Colorado State University in Fort Collins in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in math with further emphases in actuarial science and computer engineering. He was a computer programmer and software engineer and developer, working primarily for Meritage Systems in Fort Collins. He was passionate about working with Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) technology and was an expert at Ping-Pong.
Keith is survived by his father, Greg Hampton of Rocky Mount, North Carolina and mother, Martha, of Colorado Springs; his sister, Carol Hampton of Fort Collins; two uncles: Stephen (Christine) Geraci and Allen Geraci. He is also survived by faithful friends Joel Hamilton, Lakewood; Greg Flores of Andover, Kansas; Matt Zimmerman, Fort Collins; Ray Brandich, Colorado Springs; Brent Liddicoat, Fort Collins; Michael Zherdev, Fort Collins and Caroline Vance, Fort Collins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert J. (Grampy) Geraci and Barbara M. (Grammy) Geraci and his paternal grandparents James R. (Grandpa) Hampton and
Alyce JoAnne (Grandma) Hampton.
