Kevin grew up in Mitchell, South Dakota till the age of 15, when he moved to Lingle, Wyoming and graduated from High School. He worked for Anderson Carpet in Lingle. After health issues arose, he moved to Greeley and then later in 2007, he moved to Mesa Vista of Boulder.
Kevin is survived by his father, Vern Hanson; his sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Rick Ritchie and two nephews, Matt Ritchie and Andrew Ritchie and wife, Elyse Ritchie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, LoRene Hanson.
Kevin will be cremated with a small private service to be held at a later date.
