Larry was raised in Greeley. He graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1970. He worked at Noffsinger, Monfort and RR Donnelly. On March 28, 1987, he married Patti Haun, the love of his life. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church where he was baptized. His favorite pastimes were spending time with his family and friends. Being a grandpa was the highlight of his life. He loved his westerns, playing cards, and Bob Ross. In his younger years, he raced stock cars and loved archery.
Larry is survived by his wife, Patti of Kersey; daughters, Kristina Krause of Greeley and Angie Normand and husband, Eric Newton of Surprise, Arizona; sons, Shawn Normand and wife, Brianna of Fargo, North Dakota and Robert Normand of Kersey; sisters, Kay Normand of Olympia, Washington; brothers, Garry Normand and wife, Diana of Evans, Colorado; grandchildren, Galatea Eager and her husband, Jeremiah of Kersey, Janessa Krause of Kersey, Lillianna Krause of Greeley, Ava Newton of Surprise, Arizona, Lukas Krause of Greeley, Ethan Newton of Surprise, Arizona and Harper Normand of Fargo, North Dakota and great-grandchildren, Xavior Trevino and Braxton Eager. He is also survived by his uncle, Raybert Sowl and his wife, Patricia of Aurora, Colorado and many brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Bethiene (Sowl) Normand and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
