

Leanna and her family moved to Amarillo when she was a young lady. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1945. She met Billy Joe Wyatt in Amarillo and they were married on October 2, 1946 in Oceanside, California.
After their marriage, they lived in Oceanside, while her husband served in the Marine Corps. After his discharge, they returned to Amarillo. They then moved to Springfield, Missouri, while Billy attended seminary. During the years of his ministry, they lived in Texas, Oregon and then moved to Colorado in 1970 and have lived here since.
Leanna was a lifelong member of the Baptist Faith. She was an artist and loved to paint, knit, crochet and make ceramics. She owned Wyatt Ceramics for several years.
Leanna is survived by her daughters, Sandra Harris of Moore, Oklahoma and Lea Ann Wyatt (Fred Frederick) of Greeley; sons, Steve Wyatt (Sandy) of Greeley and Billy Wyatt (Stephanie) of Loveland; daughter-in-law, Peggy Wyatt of Leadville; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, BJ Wyatt, son, Ron Wyatt, son-in-law, Russ Harris and a sister, Mary Louise Reese.
Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
