Lena Whitedove Henry

Lena Whitedove Henry, age 97, of Eaton, Colorado passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Lena was born on April 30, 1928 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Michael and S.D. (Delapass) Henry. Lena was the youngest of 5 siblings.

In 1962, Lena and her family moved to Colorado where she raised her family. She worked as a dietary aide at Fair Acres Manor until her retirement. Lena was very independent and lived in her own home her whole life. Lena remained very active and enjoyed yard work and planting flowers.

Lena enjoyed car rides, reading Western novels, doing word searches, and playing bingo. In her younger days, she loved dancing, but most importantly she loved to read her bible. Lena also enjoyed socializing with friends and spending time with her family. She especially treasured her time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Lena will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her children, Fred Redfern Jr., Troy Redfern, Gloria Jean Friedman, Sylvia Job, Bruce Redfern, Jimmy Redfern, Steve Redfern (Charlotte), Nancy Maes (Cary), Tommy Redfern, and Kim Redfern (Greg); as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, and a service to follow at 10:00 a.m., both at Stoddard Funeral Home; 3205 W. 28th Street; Greeley, CO 80634
