Lyndene ""Lyndy Lou Foulk

Lyndene Lou Foulk, 80 of Greeley, CO, passed away at Life Care Center, on November 26, 2014. She was born April 17, 1934 in Beatrice, NE, to Donald Lock DDS and Mildred (Pothast) Lock. She married Arnold R. Foulk, Jr., MD, on August 6, 1955 in Beatrice, NE.

Lyndene, better known to her family and friends as Lyndy, graduated from Beatrice High School in Beatrice, NE in 1952. She went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She was an elementary school teacher in the Omaha Public Schools and after moving to Greeley in 1963, she was a preschool teacher at Trinity Episcopal Church of Greeley.

Lyndene was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Greeley, a member of Chapter I- P.E.O. Sisterhood of Greeley, a 50 year member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and a member of Women’s Panhellenic Association of Greeley.

Lyndene enjoyed gardening, reading and caring for her beloved West Highland Terrier, Lily.

She is survived by her husband Arnold R. Foulk, Jr., M.D.; son, Douglas A. (Kristine) Foulk, M.D., Broomfield, CO; daughter, Jennifer A. (Kim) Nelson, Redmond, WA; grandchildren, Amanda (John) Crowley, San Diego, CA; Natalie Foulk, Denver, CO, Griffin Foulk, Lethbridge, Alberta, Alexander Nelson, Los Angeles, CA and Jordan Nelson, Boulder, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her sister Patricia Bryant and brother-in-law, Andrew Bryant.

Interment will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 5, 2014 at Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice, Nebraska.
