Avis de décès de Marbella E. Arizmendi
AUX SOINS DE

Stoddard Funeral & Cremation & Sunset Memorial Gardens

Marbella E. Arizmendi, 90, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away peacefully at her home on January 13, 2026. She was born on December 7, 1935, in Blanca, Colorado, to Miguel Lucero and Josephine DeHerrera.

Marbella was raised alongside her seven siblings, working in the fields with her parents from a young age—an upbringing that shaped her strong work ethic and deep devotion to family. Sixty-three years ago, she married the love of her life, Rodolfo Arizmendi, beginning a lifelong partnership rooted in love, dedication, and perseverance.

Marbella worked as a cafeteria cook at Hewlett-Packard and later at Johnson’s Corner, where she was known for her hard work and care for others. After retiring, she treasured spending more time with her family, who were the center of her life.

She found joy in listening to Spanish music and spent many peaceful hours crocheting, creating items filled with love for those around her. Marbella will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rodolfo Arizmendi; her children, Dorothy Jaimes, Linda Martinez, Margie Sarceda (Sonny), Ronnie Arizmendi, Rudy Arizmendi, Sandra Bevon (Ronn), Gloria Saucedo (Tony), and Fabian Atencio; and her stepchildren, Gil Arizmendi (Irene) and Eleanor Arizmendi. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy.

Marbella was preceded in death by her parents; all her siblings; her son, Henry Atencio; and her great-grandchild, Azteca Atencio.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
