

Marguerite Weber, 94, of Greeley, died Sunday, June 23, at Life Care Center. She was born June 12, 1919 in LaSalle, Colorado to Alex and Anna (Miller) Deer. She graduated from Gilcrest High School.
On June 29, 1939 she married Rudolph (Rudy) Weber in Windsor. In 1947 the couple was transferred to Denver where she was employed by AT & T for 30 years. Her husband was in the grocery business. He passed away in 1976 in Denver. She then moved back to Greeley in 1982.
Marguerite was baptized July 27, 1919 at St. Paul’s Congregational Church by Pastor Dittmers. On March 25, 1934 she was confirmed by Pastor Eckhardt. She has been a life time member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church except for a period of time attending the sister church in Arvada.
Marguerite retired from AT & T. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club, Amico Club, AHSGR Club, 60 Plus at St. Paul’s Church, a member of the Primetime Singers, Evans Senior Center and Medallion Club. She was also a collector of porcelain dolls.
Survivors are a daughter Germaine and son-in-law Russ (Rusty) Bryant; two grandchildren Elliott Roberts and girlfriend Deanna Shaffer and Dwight Roberts and wife Dawn Strongin; two great grandsons Preston Russell Roberts and Dallas David Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27 at St. Paul’s Congregational Church. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge.
