

Mary E. Saltzman, 86, of Greeley, CO, passed away at home on July 13, 2018 with her family by her side. Mary was born to Bertha and John Joseph Dugan Sr., on November 12, 1931in Agate, CO. She attended Deer trail High School and graduated in 1949.
Mary was a very hard worker and began working at the Weld County Hospital, now NCMC.
She owned her own Ceramic studio, “Can Do Ceramic”. During her lifetime, she saw many changes and had to adapt to the changes, including having to learn computers, ten years before retiring.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church since they opened. She was a volunteer for the Battered Woman’s Shelter, and was a seamstress for Bundles of Love.
She loved fishing, arts and crafts, and was a 4-H Leader, teaching cooking and sewing.
She is survived by her sons; James M. Saltzman, Daniel L. (Lisa) Saltzman, daughter; Donna Willoughby; four grandsons, one granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Eleanor Montgomery, Anna Montgomery and Patricia Dugan and brothers, John Joseph Dugan Jr. and Thomas Dugan.
Rosary will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at the Allnutt Macy Chapel.
Service will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Weld County Humane Society in care of Allnutt Funeral Service. 702 13th Street, Greeley, CO 80631.
