Miranda Lynn Cantu

Miranda was raised in Greeley alongside her brother and sister and attended Greeley Central High School. Twenty-eight years ago, she met the love of her life, Jonathan Cantu, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and devotion as they raised their children, Ruben and Nichole.

Strong-minded, caring, and outgoing, Miranda had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time in nature. Music was a constant joy in her life, and she loved exploring new hobbies—most recently candle-making. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially her beloved cat, Luna.

She was a strong, kind, and vibrant person who brought light wherever she went. Miranda will be missed for her spirit, her laughter, and the way she loved her family and the world around her.

Miranda is survived by her husband, Jonathan Cantu; her children, Ruben and Nichole Cantu; and her father, James McCoy and step-mother Michelle McCoy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rhonda McCoy.

The family will hold a private celebration of life to honor Miranda’s memory.
