Moses Ramos

Moses Ramos, Sr., 67, of Greeley, Colorado passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Julesburg, Colorado to Margaret Sierra and Refugio Ramos on July 14, 1954.

Moses went to school in Galeton and Eaton, Colorado. He later moved to Greeley.

Moses married Lydia Ramos on February 17, 1976 at that point they became a blended family. He worked for Hall Irwin in the late 1980s. He later became a Heavy Machine Operator for many different excavating companies.

Moses raised two grandsons as his own, Big Boy and DeMarco Vega.

Moses was a father of six, the late Shirley Ann Alfaro, Moses Ramos, Jr., Sandra Lee Gomez (Emilio Gomez), Joe Lewis Ramos, Moses Flores and Crystal Cecelia Carrizales (Isidoro Carrizales) Moses; 10 siblings; 34 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Moses was preceded in death by his mom, Margaret Sierra-Ramos, his daughter, Shirley Ann Alfaro, his sisters, Ceciela Castro and Ruth Ramos, his brothers, David Ramos, Trinidad Ramos and Ernie Cordova, his niece, Sylvia "Chiva" Gonzales, nephews, Adrian Perales Ramos, Jose "Che" Aguero and Prudencio Jr. Gonzales and many others we've lost over the years.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Trinity Spanish Assembly of God. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
