Rebecca Josephine Becker

Born in Sterling, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Trudy Bayley. Becky graduated from Sterling High School in 1969 before graduating Northeastern Junior College in 1971. She married Jerry Becker in August of 1972. After returning to college, she obtained a BA in accounting from the University of Northern Colorado in 1987.

Becky worked as an accountant for several years before she retired from the High Plains Library District after working for 15 years as an HR Assistant. Becky was an avid Democrat who loved traveling with her husband and beagles in their RV, playing Yahtzee with her son and daughter-in-law, reading, and binge-watching Hallmark movies.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years: son Brian (Brittani) Becker of Greeley; Siblings Skip (Betsy) Bayley, Deb Ringleman, Cathy Robinson, Terry Robinson, Mike (Judy) Bayley, Jane (David) Shawcroft, Vicki (Jerry) Scalva, and Randy (Kelly) Bayley; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Brooke Becker; Brothers-in-law Don Ringleman, Doug Robinson, and Ed Robinson; and beloved beagles Sam and Emma.

A private memorial service will be held.
