
Rosalee was born in Nebraska on October 4, 1933 to Carl and Erna Gebers (Levin). She married Robert DeYoung on June 3, 1956 in Auburn, Nebraska. Bob and Rosie served side-by-side at Lutheran churches in North Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, and Texas.
Rosalee attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, and later went on to be a Medical Technologist in Nebraska and California. She also enjoyed a career with United Airlines, which provided an opportunity to travel the world. Rosalee retired in 1999, and moved to Greeley. She loved music, and was gifted on both the piano and the organ.
Rosalee is survived by her six children: sons Robert DeYoung (Ruby) and James DeYoung (Annette); daughters Judith Bloyd, Jill Adkinson (Mike), Kerry DeYoung, and Kristin Bridges (Casey); as well as her sisters, Ruth Boling and Pearl Gerdes, and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert DeYoung, and her sisters, Edith Bohling and Marie Oestmann.
