Stanley Rae Stroman

Stan graduated from Greeley Central High School, attended Aims Community College and Auraria College in Denver. He recently attended his 40th high school reunion. He became a long distance truck driver. Later he worked as a carpenter in the Greeley area and single handedly built his own house in his spare time.

After moving to Denver he was employed in construction work, became an expert plumber and a health care provider. He traveled to several countries. He was a perfectionist in everything he did. With his mechanical mind he could fix almost anything. Always giving more than he received he enjoyed helping others. He volunteered at the Denver Rescue Mission. He liked old cars and restored several and enjoyed driving them in the 4th of July Parade.

Stan is survived by his mother, Ila Jean Stroman of Greeley, two brothers, David C. of Aurora, Larry of Steamboat Springs, six nieces and nephews and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, David W.

Cremation has taken place. The Rocky Mountains was his favorite place to be and his ashes will be scattered there in the springtime.
