

Teddy G. Putnam, 86 of Windsor, CO, passed away at Windsor Health Care Center on January 4, 2018. Teddy was born March 25, 1931 in Haigler, NE, to Theodore A. and Margaret A. (Evans) Putnam. Teddy married Dorothy Lindeen in November of 1950 in Greeley. They have been married for 67 years.
Teddy graduated from Greeley High School in 1949. He joined the Air Force immediately after high school serving during the Korean conflict. Upon his return he went to work for Mountain Bell and worked there until his retirement. He also worked as an independent business owner with Amway before fully retiring.
Teddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and motorcycles, and especially enjoyed playing Pinochle. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Teddy never met a stranger. He loved everybody. If he met someone with the same “haircut” he had he would say “Hey! You have the same barber I do!”
Teddy is survived by his wife Dotty; daughter, Chris Brock, of Drake, CO, Cathy (Rory) Goscha of Staunton, VA, and Carol Putnam, of Windsor, CO; grandchildren, Jason (Johnii) and Chad Wilson, Michelle Bledsoe, Daniel (Stephanie) Goscha and Jared and Jordyn May; seven great-grandchildren; youngest brother Ron (Patsy) Putnam of Parker; and brothers in-law Robert Aspinwall of Wichita, KS, Andrew (Pam) and Carl (Marge) Lindeen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brothers Bill and Gary of Windsor, CO.
A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel with a reception to follow in the Allnutt Reception Center. Inurnment to be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at a later date.
