

William “Bill” A. Killebrew, 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Poudre Canyon, Colorado on January 14, 2017. Bill was born to William R. and Mildred L. Killebrew in Greeley, CO on August 8, 1950. Bill graduated from Greeley West High School class of 1968. On January 17, 1969, Bill married Sharon Larson, also of Greeley and together had their son, Matt Killebrew, in 1975. Bill graduated with an A.S. in Welding Technology from Aims Community College and began his career as a welder. After five years, Bill returned to Aims to educate future welders as the Department Chair of the Welding Program. He was Faculty President for two years, and served as the President of the Colorado Chapter of the American Welding Society. Bill retired from Aims in 2000 and moved to his mountain home in the Poudre Canyon. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Bill is survived by his wife Sharon, of Poudre Canyon, son Matt and his wife Jeannie and their two children, Adelaide and Michael, of Windsor, CO. Bill is preceded in death by his parents.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave, Loveland, CO, 80538.
