

William “Bill” Trejo, 64 of Greeley, passed away at Centennial Health Care Center in Greeley on November 17, 2016. Bill was born December 17, 1951 in Edinburg, TX to Mary (Deleon) and Cesario Trejo Jr.
Bill graduated from Longmont Sr. High School in 1972 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from UNC in 1977. He enjoyed working with Special Education children and was a bus monitor for Weld District 6 for 35 years. Bill also served as a Private in the United States Army Infantry.
Bill was an open and honest man that used his sense of humor to open doors where others would have found it difficult. He was very friendly, starting a conversation with whoever he could. His sense of humor and warmness made it easy for children and adults to love him. He loved to fish, collected books, worked on old TV’s and radios, was a self taught mechanic, and loved to go to the movies.
Bill left this world with a smile on his face and his eye looking up.
He is survived by his brothers Jack (Rebecca) and Harson (Ligia) Trejo; sisters Jean Trejo and Peggy Coryell; nephews Jason (Nicole) and William (Jackie) Trejo and Harson Trejo, Jr.; and nieces Nichole Trejo and Emalyn Trejo; great nephews Andrew Trejo and Liam Trejo; great niece Merry
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Betty Nancy Trejo; and nephew Anthony Coryell.
Memorial Service 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Greeley. Inurnment at Fort Logan to be held at a later date.
