Barbara J. Rogers Wood

She was born on December 13, 1934 in Greencastle to Earl Rogers and Noveretta Humphrey Rogers.

Barbara married Earl W. Wood on July 25, 1953 and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2009.

Her parents and a step-grandson, James Wood also preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Earlene Shaff and husband Joe of Greencastle son, Terry Wood and wife Melissa of Fillmore and a step-son, Donald E. Wood and wife Charlene of Amo; four grandchildren, Jonathan Shaff and wife Jessica, Jennifer Flater and husband Joshua, Nikolas Wood and wife Ashley, and Daniel Wood four step-grandchildren, Jennifer Menchhofer and husband Chris, Michelle Mackintosh, Michael Mackintosh and Natalee Long; five great-grandchildren, Jaxon Shaff, Jana Flater, Jace Flater, Jaxson Flater, and Zakary Wood and seven step-great-grandchildren, Hannah Menchhofer, Garner Menchhofer, Zachary Thom, Abigail Thom, Cole Mackintosh, Kaitlin Long and Leeland Strough.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, with Rev. Donnie Watson officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
